Fans can expect an immersive experience featuring their favorite characters and set pieces.

Popular Henderson Avenue bar, The Whippersnapper, has unveiled their sixth pop-up event. In anticipation of the upcoming new series House of the Dragon, This and That Hospitality will focus on the world- renowned television series that introduced us to the mythical land of Westeros and the epic fight for power, Game of Thrones.
The Whippersnapper has transformed into Whipperfell, becoming the go-to destination for dedicated fans of the television series and Dallasites alike.
“When choosing our next pop-up theme, Game of Thrones was a no-brainer for us,” says Phil Schanbaum, co-founder of This and That Hospitality. “Our goal is to bring the incredibly well-loved world of Westeros to life and recreate the magic for the dedicated fanbase of the series. We’re excited to get people through the doors to see all their favorite characters and set pieces that make the show so iconic.”
Visitors will have opportunities to explore the show’s history and re-create their favorite moments by sitting on the coveted Iron Throne, a chair forged from 1,000 swords and whomever sits upon the throne is considered the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. People can also expect a backdrop of nostalgia with employees in costume, a photo booth and other Instagrammable photo opportunities, themed food and drink menus, interactive experiences, nightly entertainment, and incredible artwork from local artist, Jonny Freeman.
Adding to the immersive pop-up will be a selection of creative cocktails highlighting the teams’ favorite moments from each character. There will also be a special food menu with items inspired by infamous episode titles from the iconic series. Costumes aren’t required but are encouraged.
Whipperfell runs through October 15. The immersive pop-up event will be open to the public beginning on August 25 from 8:00pm until 2:00am and weekly from Wednesday through Saturday from 6:00pm until 2:00am.
