The Whippersnapper at 1806 McMillan Avenue has transformed into “The Drunken Clam”, the tavern from the hit show Family Guy, for a pop-up experience.

The bar has updated its exterior signage and façade to look identical to the cartoon watering hole. The interior has been decorated with several unique show-related touches; and, the drink menu features specialty offerings and surprises that true Family Guy fans will love.

Dallas-based This & That Concepts, the brand behind neighborhood staples like High Fives, Tiny Victories, The Whip, Ferris Wheelers and its newest brand, Dibs on Victory, is behind the transformation. “Whether you’re a fan of the show or not, we think you’ll enjoy dropping by and checking out the pop-up bar along with drink specials, photo opportunities and more,” said Brandon Hays, This & That co-owner.

The Drunken Clam pop-up will be open Wednesday through Saturday 6 p.m to 2 a.m. for the 30-day run, ending on February 2nd. *see update below

After that, the bar will again be closed, remodeled, and re-opened for The Whippersnapper’s 3rd anniversary.
