Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar, a full-service family restaurant and sports bar, has opened in Irving.

The restaurant,operated by local franchise owners Johnny Qubty and Joshua Allen, is located at 3165 Regent Boulevard. This will mark the duo’s third Walk-On’s location with one other in Waco and their original in Lubbock – the first to debut in Texas.

“It is truly an exciting opportunity to introduce a new dining destination to the community and we are eager to serve up our incredible, made from scratch food that will show our guests what true Louisiana cuisine is all about,” says Qubty. “Walk-On’s is unlike anything in the area and we can’t wait to celebrate with our grand opening. It’s our mission to deliver a remarkable dining experience to every guest who walks through our doors while pleasing pallets with our mouth-watering dishes,” added Allen.

Walk-On’s diverse, made from scratch menu has offerings ranging from unique twists on game day staples – like the Smoked Gouda Turkey Burger, Boom Boom Shrimp Poyboy, and Cajundillas, to more upscale takes on Louisiana mainstays – like Crawfish Etou-Ways, Mardi Gras Mahi, and Duck and Andouille Gumbo.

Its game day atmosphere paired with a true southern hospitality makes it a perfect dining destination for everyone.

As stated by co-owner and NFL superstar Drew Brees, Walk-On’s is “a great place to bring my family, teammates and business colleagues,” and we’re excited to help “expand the brand across the nation.” Today, with over 100 locations in development across 15 states, the brand is on track for strategic franchise expansion nationwide.
