Dallas loves fashion and fashion loves Dallas. Dallasites are thrilled that another of our own local favorite designers hit the runway at New York Fashion Week. Circumstances kept me from attending as I had planned, but I was able to secure a friend a seat at the standing room only inaugural Binzario Couture show at Alvin Alley Theatre last Sunday. Bianca Gamez, a Dallas talent agent, made me feel as if I were almost actually there, as she sent me exciting photos of the anticipating crowd and then models as they walked the runway in Binzario Coutures ‘Visions In White” Collection. I’m so excited to share them with Pop Goes the City readers!

Designers Andre Bell and Luis Nazario create dream one of a kind wedding gowns and cocktail dresses in their downtown studio, as well as offer ready-to-wear creations to retailers. Binzario hit big with Dallas philanthropy crowd when they teamed up with Autism Treatment Centers of Texas for an amazing fashion show luncheon this Spring, where local ‘celebrities’ donned gorgeous gowns created for their ‘A Walk in Paris’ collection.  It was no wonder that their ‘Visions in White’ preview event had three times the expected number of attendees after the buzz created from the Venetian Room at Dallas Fairmont Hotel event. If you missed it, you can catch the Parisian inspired collection on an episode of an upcoming Dallas cast reality TV show on Bravo….wink, wink!
