If you missed The Weekender Dallas event this past weekend, you missed a lot. A lovely VIP Party with great wine, beautiful fashion and entertainment kicked the weekend off the right way.
The VIP Party was a great time to mingle with the exhibitors, as well. Blaine of Blaine’s Color and I spent a lot of time chatting about his product line. Why? He has a super amazing dry shampoo that I can’t wait to tell you about later this week. I also spent time chatting with a couple of ladies I simply adore, Ashley Burghardt of Ashard Richley and Rania Batrice, representative with Abi Ferrin.
The main event, the shopping, took center stage Saturday and Sunday. The second floor of the W Hotel was crazy packed with exhibitors and shoppers. Nearly every booth had a hot giveaway and everyone was ready to show and tell about their products and service. From tea tasting, to green tea facials, to brow tinting…I could go on and on. Attending The Weekender Dallas event was part of my plan for a relaxing weekend, an all about me weekend. But, let’s not forget the event benefited two great charitable organizations in Dallas, The Family Place and The Society of Women Who LOVE Shoes. Both of these charities focus on uplifting the lives of those touched by domestic and family violence. Their work fills an overwhelming need in our metroplex and many, many lives are changed by the work that they do.
The Weekender Dallas is a must attend event and if you missed it this year, be on the look out for event details for next years event. You won’t want to miss an opportunity to pamper yourself, shop and give back to the community.
Scoop: Starting this week I will be featuring some of my favorite Dallas…and Austin based exhibitors from The Weekender Dallas. Stay tuned to meet some new people and learn about some great businesses and services!
