Ice cream theatre is coming to a town near you.
Cali-based Creamistry, a chain that specializes in premium made-to-order liquid nitrogen ice cream using all-natural and organic ingredients, opened its first North Texas location today, bringing its unique brand to Village on the Parkway (5100 Belt Line Road) in Addison.
Specially trained Creamologists handcraft each individual ice cream concoction, using liquid nitrogen to freeze ingredients. The result is a fresh, creamy treat, that’s unique to the customer who ordered it. “Creamistry isn’t a typical ice cream destination – it’s an experience,” says Aamir Rajani, Creamistry Addison’s franchise owner.
Here’s how it works:
Choose your size – regular, large, or nitroshake
Choose your ice cream base – signature premium, organic, sorbet, or coconut
Choose your toppings and upgrades – lots to select from here
Once everything is in the bowl, your creation will be mixed and frozen right before your eyes.
Creamistry will be offering free ice cream to customers during its grand opening celebration today, December 2, from 12 to 2 p.m. Customers will receive one free scoop of ice cream, an additional topping and Creamistry-branded sunglasses.
Regular hours of operation will be noon to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and noon to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
Two more North Texas Creamistry locations are slated to open early next year in Greenville and Las Colinas.
