The Jeffree Star x Manny MUA Collaboration has finally been revealed!

On Friday, Manny MUA posted a video on YouTube of he and Jeffree Star revealing the items of the collaboration.

When I first heard about this collaboration, I was really excited. I could not wait to find out what they created and, how they brought their super popular brands together.

The Jeffree Star x Manny MUA Collaboration consists of a Skin Frost and two Velour Liquid Lipsticks.

Here are my first impressions of the collaboration (based on the video):

I love it! For this to be Jeffree Star’s first collaboration, I feel like it was really well thought out and focused, as a collection for everyone, almost all skin tones. Jeffree and Manny had been working on this since they were in Bora Bora last year. Manny came up with the names and, then they were off and running with the other details.

The packaging is beautiful because incorporating both of their brand logos appears to have been pretty easy.

When it comes to the products, I am under the impression the formulas are pretty close to what Jeffree already creates. As we all know, different pigments can change the consistency of liquid lipsticks but, based on how the lipsticks looked when Manny and Jeffree applied them, they are consistent with most of the liquid lipsticks in Jeffree’s main line – a true pigment rich liquid that’s smooth and full coverage in one swipe. The highlighter when applied looked to have a nice, peachy, sun-kissed kind of glow that is buildable using a dry brush or, if you are brave, a wet brush.

The collab will launch online on April 8, 2017 at 10AM (PST).
