Hibiscus, a hidden gem housed in a historic building on North Henderson Avenue, serves up fresh, locally sourced ingredients in a soothing rustic environment.

Open for dinner Monday through Saturday, the ever-changing offerings keep the menu interesting. The innovative beverage program features a mix of craft spirit concoctions, craft beers and delicious wines by the glass.

Here are some of my favorites from their current menu:

Olio & Olive Burrata – peaches, aged balsamic, ciabatta

Salmon Tartare – caper, cornichon, avocado, taro root chip

Pappa al Pomodoro – basil, grana padano, crouton
