The Equest 35th Anniversary Gala will celebrate the amazing work of Equest’s dedicated staff, selfless volunteers, loyal clients, generous community supporters, and cherished therapy horses. Together, Equest has helped children, adults and veterans overcome unique challenges – all through the human-horse connection.

The equestrian-chic fundraiser, hosted by Honorary Chairs Chris and Dale Hansen and Chairs Helena and Doug Wall, brings together gourmet southern cuisine, craft cocktails, live music by Cary Pierce, prized live and silent auction items, and some fun horsing-around.

From Lili Kellogg, Interim CEO of Equest:

Here at Equest, our therapy horses spend all year bringing hope and healing to some very deserving people: kids, adults and even veterans. This 35th anniversary is an important milestone for them, for those we help, and for us.

Details:

Saturday, May 7, 2016, 7:00 p.m. at Texas Horse Park

Luxury shuttles (complete with motorized horsepower and stocked with beer and wine) will bring guests from two locations in the Park Cities and Preston Hollow.

A reception hour will include gourmet southern snacks, craft cocktails, a Bourbon & Biscuits Bar and wine lounge. (The horses have chosen to stick with carrots and hay for their horse d’oeuvres.) Dinner will feature Southern cuisine from Farm to Table Catering and specialty drinks.

Sponsorships are available starting at $5,000. Tables (of 10) are available to purchase for $2,500 and individual tickets are $250.

Funds raised at the annual gala support the year-round work of this non-profit organization with a heart as big as Texas.
