If you have not heard, Yosi has been spending a lot of time in the Lone Star State…Dallas to be specific. Splitting his time between NYC and his new home in the fabulous neighborhood of Preston Hollow, Yosi has thrown himself into everything Dallas. Enjoy my interview with the King of the Foldable Ballet Flat where he dishes on what he loves about our city and what we can expect from his presence here.

Pop Goes the City: Why was Dallas the ideal location to open a new headquarters? 

Yosi Samra: Dallas is one of the fastest growing markets for Yosi Samra, and after spending a lot of time here on business I didn’t want to leave. There’s a great up-and-coming fashion scene in Dallas, and I’m looking forward to becoming more involved and growing my business locally.

PGTC: What do you love most about Dallas?

YS: There are great restaurants, great nightlife, and a great scene all around. People are really happy here. I’ve definitely become a fan of local spots like Shinsei for sushi, Neighborhood Services, Mustang Donuts and JD’s Cookies.

PGTC: What can Dallasites expect from Yosi Samra? 

YS: We’ve already been a part of some really fun events in Dallas, including our first “Holiday Flats Fete” at The Shak in December, where we raised money for the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. We’re planning a few things for spring, one being an event with Scoop in Highland Park Village end of March.

I am personally very happy that Yosi Samra has set up shop, so to speak, in my city. Yosi Samra is known for their amazing sample sales in NYC. I certainly hope Dallas gets a taste of that very soon!
