I love beauty products and am always willing to try brands that come with high recommendation. For the last 4 years I’d been hearing great reviews of Dallas area skincare brand Actifirm but never tried it, until recently.

Actifirm, a natural skincare line founded by Elysiann Bishop, for the last 15 years has been redefining skincare through their focused development of effective botanically-based skincare for daily in-home use.

I tried products from the Actifirm Natural Basics set, and am beyond pleased with the results.

The set contains:

Antioxidant Cleanser that cleans and helps remove surface oil – to be used twice a day (works well with a Clarisonic)

15% Z-Peel that serves as a very gentle method of exfoliation with the brands patented ingredient – natural Mucor Miehei mushroom enzymes – every other day use is what I found worked best for me

Renovation Serum that hydrates without oil and calms the skin – to be used twice a day

Actimoist Booster Moisturizer that targets moisture in the places that need it…like the dry patches I get in the winter – use this in the morning

All of these products are available separately but I love the set because it takes the guess-work out of that goes together and the order products should be used for maximum results. I also love that the exfoliator is part of the daily routine. Yes – it is THAT gentle that some choose to use it everyday!

Since using the products a few things have happened. First, people began commenting on how refreshed and alive my skin looks. Second, the tone and texture of my skin improved by leaps and bounds. Third, I actually found my skin to be less oily. Obviously these results are not typical; they are my own and are why I am impressed with Actifirm.

So…what Actifirm product am I dying to try next?! The Nice Body Exfoliator! This power body exfoliator is on my radar.
