I am a bit spoiled to gel manicures these days however, while primping in the beauty tent at a pre Fashion’s Night Out event last Thursday, I saw and had to have a color from the Essie 2012 fall collection, Stylenomics.  The six tantalizing shades in the collection create a nice mix of neutral, sassy and rich, bold colors, all aimed at making a dynamic style statement for fall.  Here is the color line up (l to r):

• don’t sweater it — smooth mauve
• skirting the issue — hearty burgundy
• recessionista — earthy red
• miss fancy pants — chic greige (aka beige/gray)
• head mistress — bold red
• stylenomics — rich, dark green

In the beauty tent, Cara – a nail tech from Grand Spa in Addison, was helpful in my color selection.  I was not daring enough to go with the collections namesake, stylenomics, as my choice.  Instead, I selected don’t sweater it for a more neutral, yet exciting pop of color.  This turned out the be a wise choice; everyone one loved it!  For my next manicure at Grand Spa, I am all about miss fancy pants!
