On Thursday, The Whippersnapper (The Whip) will unveil its latest transformation, highlighting the iconic ambiance of all things Barbie, a real-life rendition of the iconic Dream House.

Coinciding with the launch of the latest big-screen adaptation, Dallasites will have the opportunity to experience the immersive pop-up featuring themed food and drinks, live music, and decor that celebrate the iconic doll’s legacy. Even the staff will be participating in the fun, donning themed looks from different eras of Barbie’s history.

“The BAR-bie pop-up will transport patrons to their own dream world. Everyone has their own take on the doll, and we can’t wait to see all the different ‘Barbs’ and Ken that walk through our doors,” said Phil Schanbaum, co-founder of This and That Hospitality, in a media release. “With everyone talking about the movie, we whipped up our spin on the beloved theme.”

The outside of the venue will be designed to resemble a life-sized Dream House, capturing the essence of the iconic doll’s home. Inside, guests can expect to find an array of decorations, an on-theme Corvette bed, a digital photobooth, an accessory wall, and more.

In addition to the captivating decor, The Whip’s bar has dreamed up a pop-up exclusive menu of food and drinks with items such as Barbie’s Burger, Teresa’s Tenders, and the California Club, along with custom cocktails such “Life in Plastic”, “He’s just Ken”, and more.

Come on Barbie, let’s go party! The Whip’s Barbie Dream House pop-up kicks off on Thursday, August 10 at 10pm and runs through Saturday, September 30 at 1806 McMillan Ave, Dallas, TX 75206. This party is for Barbie lovers age 21+, 6pm to 2am Wednesday through Saturday. No cover charge.
