The drive-thru store is giving a permanent home to La La Land’s “Drive By Kindness” initiative.

La La Land Kind Cafe, the famous coffee shop championing bright yellow cups, kindness, and life skills for foster youth, will open its first drive-thru location in Richardson on Saturday, September 17.
The cafe from Forbes 30 Under 30 entrepreneur Francois Reihani offers an array of organic craft drinks including coffees, matcha lattes, teas, lemonades, and more, in addition to light bites such as toast and overnight oats. Located just under two miles from the University of Texas at Dallas, this is the seventh location in the state of Texas since the launch of its flagship location in Lowest Greenville.
Normalizing kindness is the mission of La La Land Kind Cafe, and coffee is the method. The brand normalizes kindness through its positive employees, signature happy yellow hue, and its We Are One Project — an initiative providing foster youth with the life skills and employment they need for success after they turn 18 — founded in 2017.
For the Grand Opening, staff will be handing out free flowers and both food and drinks will be 50% off, the only time La La Land will offer such a discount. All regular menu items will be available at the new location. Drink highlights will include The Butterfly Latte with a fruity pebbles taste featuring matcha and butterfly pea blossom tea; The Cookies n’ Dream Latte with Oreo crumble, la la cloud foam, honey, vanilla, and espresso; and the Solar Power with lemon, ginger, honey, and organic matcha. On the food side, La La Land classics will be available such as the Truffle and Burrata Avocado Toast with white truffle burrata and chili flakes and the Cacao Banana Chia Seed Pudding with hemp seeds and coconut milk.
The store is located at 242 W. Campbell Rd Richardson, TX 75080 and will be open its regular hours of 6am to 9pm.
