Do you know anyone making a positive impact on the progress of Downtown Dallas?

Nominations are open for the Downtown Dallas, Inc., recognizing an individual or company for major achievements advancing our urban core. 

The new award, to be given as part of DDI’s 65th-anniversary celebration in 2023, recognizes a company or individual that has demonstrated outstanding commitment to and significantly impacted the progression of Downtown Dallas. 

“DDI’s year-long 65th anniversary celebration will be dedicated to the people and organizations that have made our Downtown the vibrant, connected, economic engine that it is today,” said DDI President & CEO Jennifer Scripps. “There is no more fitting way to kick off this landmark celebration than with our newly branded honor that we will bestow upon a deserving person or organization from among nominees submitted by our stakeholders.”

The honoree will also be recognized for efforts to help stimulate a vibrant environment, advance the goals of DDI’s strategic 360 Plan, facilitate a diverse, equitable, and inclusive Downtown, and promote community involvement. DDI previously awarded the Chairman’s Award annually for more than a decade. 

The new award will be presented at DDI’s Annual Meeting and Luncheon in February 2023, with more details on that event to be released later this year.
