Weekender Edit: Staycation at Hyatt Regency Frisco

The location of your next getaway awaits you.

This post is sponsored by Hyatt Regency. All opinions within are my own.

Located roughly 30 minutes north of Dallas, Hyatt Regency Frisco is centrally located at Preston Road and Sam Rayburn Tollway.

A project of Sam Moon Group and the city of Frisco, the 18-story, 303-room hotel features minimalist contemporary decor with subtle, muted earth tones and lots of natural night. The rooms are spacious with an open closet concept, 65” high definition flat panel televisions in every room, and lavish bathrooms.

Aside from the beautiful suite I stayed in, my favorite spot was the outdoor pool. It’s a very popular location for guests wanting to unwind with a cocktail from the pool bar, Steel Horse Cabana, and enjoy a little bit of fun in the sun.

While this hotel does not offer room service, guest are able to find grab and go items at C&S Market in the lobby, enjoy a cocktail and bar food at Copper & Steel Bar, or enjoy a plated breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Copper & Steel Table, the hotel restaurant.

During my stay, I took full advantage of the peaceful opportunity to relax, only leaving the room for pool time, to get food to enjoy in the room, and to have drinks at the cozy bar during an NBA finals game.

Since its opening just over two years ago, Hyatt Regency Frisco has become a preferred choice for out-of-town visitors and locals because of its proximity to top destinations in the area.

An incredible highlight of this property is that guests have access to nearly 200 shops inside Stonebriar Centre Mall, a Frisco Public Library satellite location inside the hotel, and many other nearby attractions and entertainment venues such as Frisco Discover Center, National Video Game Museum, The Star, Dr Pepper Ballpark, and Toyota Stadium.

Frisco is a bustling city, with something for everyone. Make the Hyatt Regency Frisco the location of your next staycation or girls getaway. You won’t regret it.
