Indie Beauty Media Group hosts Indie Beauty Expo, and adds BeautyX Retail Summit to May lineup in Dallas.
Indie Beauty Media Group (IBMG) is excited to announce that Indie Beauty Expo (IBE) will be coming to Dallas for its second year, on May 9 and 10, 2017. Additionally, and on the heels of last year’s success, the brand is launching the BeautyX Retail Summit in Dallas, which will be held prior to the expo event.
Indie Beauty Expo is a two-day exposition showcasing the world’s largest collection of indie beauty brands to consumers and trade professionals. Founded by celebrity esthetician, Jillian Wright, and entrepreneur, Nader Naeymi-Rad, IBE helps the fast-growing category of indie brands connect to buyers, press, consumers and investors.
Approximately 80 brands will be on hand to present their products to consumers, retailer and beauty aficionados. Exhibiting brands include Full Unicorn Assertive Skincare, Svati Organics, Elvis and Elvin, Voula Beauty, Onaturel, REALHER, Little Moon Essentials, Maapilim, Scandic Skincare, and many more.
The event is comprised of two elements:
SHOP INDIE, held on May 9, is a place where beauty lovers can discover and buy the best and newest independent beauty products. SHOP INDIE is open to the general public; tickets range from $23 to $79.
TRADE INDIE, held on May 10, is reserved for industry professionals. Here, buyers, press, and investors can interact and transact with the world’s largest collection of independent beauty brands. Guests must apply to attend.

New this year, the IBMG will bring the BeautyX Retail Summit to Dallas to focus on retail channels and trends. Co-founder Nader Naeymi-Rad shares, “This series offers education that is essential to entrepreneurial success. By working so closely with independent brands, we’ve realized they have a thirst for focused practical knowledge.”
On May 7 – 8, 2018, top buyers, retail executives and professional curators will help young brands understand what is needed to build a successful wholesale business. The two-day summit at Hotel Crescent Court includes structured learning courses, expert panels and networking opportunities.
