Union Bear Brewing, the highly anticipated brewery and restaurant from {33} Restaurant Group is now open at The Boardwalk in Granite Park.

As Plano’s first independent brewpub and restaurant, Union Bear Brewing is serving dinner daily beginning at 4pm and will add lunch hours beginning at 11am on January 8.

“We are extremely proud of the development of this concept and even more proud of the team we have assembled to execute our vision to be Plano and Frisco’s very own, local, neighborhood-brewpub,” says Preston Lancaster, Founder and CEO of {33} Restaurant Group.

Inspired by the West Coast casual beer approach, onsite brewers hand-craft Union Bear’s signature line of brews including UB Blonde, Amber, White IPA and Stout as well as 33 featured taps, extensive bar offerings, hand selected whiskies and wine list with offerings available by the glass or bottle.

Chef Sean Sanders is leading the kitchen with a menu of chef-driven takes on American pub fare featuring appetizers, soups and salads, baked flatbreads, entrees, sandwiches and desserts.  Menu favorites including Goat Cheese Stuffed Peppers, Duck Leg Sliders, Beer Braised Short Rib Pappardelle, Chimichurri Hanger Steak and a Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich accompany Union Bear signature plates such as the UB Caesar Salad, Patty Melt and The Honey Pig flatbread.

With 7,250 square feet of indoor space and a 3,000 square foot patio, the approachable and communal space is a family friendly concept offering games including a golf putting hole, bocce ball and shuffleboard with a lake view.  Union Bear will also offer growlers and crowlers to-go.

{33} Restaurant Group owns and operates Cadillac Pizza Pub in McKinney, and Taverna Rossa Craft Pizza and Beer in Plano and Southlake, Heritage Pizza and Taproom in The Colony and The Yard opening in McKinney this summer.
