Figure Skating Superstars to Highlight Gallaria Dallas Grand Tree Lighting

Galleria Dallas prepares to celebrate the holidays in a spectacular ice skating show.

For millions of guests each year, a trip to visit Galleria Dallas and its iconic 95-foot Christmas tree is a treasured holiday tradition. The experience is made even richer when guests visit during the various Grand Tree Lighting Celebrations.

Each free holiday show features Missile Toes, Galleria’s ice-skating, back-flipping, pyrotechnic Santa Claus, live performances from Olympic, World and National champions along with local children performing around the country’s tallest indoor Christmas tree.

This year, Galleria Dallas will host an amazing array of national and international ice skating luminaries:

Friday, November 24, 12 noon, and Saturday, November 25, 6 p.m.

Meryl Davis & Charlie White, 2014 Olympic Gold Medalists;

Emily Chan, 2016 US Junior Ladies Champion;

Jonathan Cassar, 2017 US Professional Champion

Saturday, December 2, 6 p.m.

Yuka Sato, 1994 World Champion

Saturday, December 9, 6 p.m.

Audrey Lu and Misha Mitrofanov, Junior Pairs Champions

Saturday, December 16, 6 p.m.

Maia & Alex Shibutani – 2017 US National Dance Champions;

Ryan Bradley – 2011 US Men’s National Champion

The shows also feature local and regional youth skaters performing in colorful holiday costumes.  Each show closes with the featured skaters and Missile Toes lighting the Galleria Dallas Christmas Tree with an exciting pyrotechnic flourish.
