A makeup collection created by beauty influencers – yes please!

COL•LAB, the new makeup line created by eight beauty influencers (above) exclusively for Sally Beauty, is changing that way consumers think about affordable beauty products.

Since the launch, makeup lovers and enthusiasts have been able to experience the high-performance face, lip, and eye products, without breaking the bank. At a price point under $15 for individual items, COL•LAB is working to offer professional quality color products, without the steep price.

I’ve been playing around with several items from the line. And as with any brand, they are some products that really rise to the top. Here are my five essential must-haves from the launch collection:

Full Body Lipstick, $10.99

These color rich lipsticks come in 16 beautiful shades available in silky satin or comfort matte. I really love the creamy feel of these on my lips. My current favorite shade is Beauty Queen (pictured above – satin).

Palette Pro Eyeshadow Palette, $14.99

The eyeshadow palettes from the launch collection are super approachable. Four palette combinations are available and each have eight buttery soft, pigmented shades that can be used to create multiple looks. My current favorite palette is Best of the Day (pictured above).

The Filter Highlighting Liquid, $14.99

This is a micro-pearl liquid formula that is available in four shades. I really like liquid highlighters because they can be applied lightly for a look of natural radiance or layered for a more intense highlight or full on strobe. My current favorite shade is Pearlocity (pictured above).

Glow With The Flow Lip Shine, $8.99

This lip shine comes in six stunning non-sticky shades that can be worn alone or layered over other lip products for added dimension. My current favorite shade is Easy Glowing (pictured above – a clear gloss with gold glitter).

The Works Wow Effect All-In-One Mascara, $12.99

The Eye-Have-it-All Brush™ combined with the mascara formula creates volume, length, definition, and curls lashes. (Everything you could possibly want from a mascara and wand!) This mascara is available in three shades – Extreme Black, Black, and Black Brown. My current favorite shade is Black Brown because it looks natural on my lashes.
