Cult favorite, made-from-scratch tacos are coming to Plano
Tacodeli, the Austin-born, cult favorite taqueria by chef/founder Roberto Espinosa and Eric Wilkerson, is set to open two new locations in 2018, this time in Plano.
The first location will be in Parkwood Village at Parkwood and Highway 121 near Stonebriar Centre and Legacy West, and will open in the first quarter of 2018. The second location will be at Preston Road and W. Park Boulevard in the heart of the Park and Preston area of Plano near Whole Foods, and will open in the second quarter of 2018.
Tacodeli is fast-casual style neighborhood restaurant that is open daily for breakfast and lunch. The menu features more than 40 made-from-scratch tacos with fresh ingredients – many of which are organic and locally sourced.
All dressings, salsas, and sauces are all made in-house with authentic Mexican flavors. Agua frescas and the dairy-free horchata are made with local produce and organic evaporated cane juice. Chips made with organic masa are also a part of the carefully curated menu. Additionally, the menu is 100% gluten-free if tacos are ordered on corn tortilla.
The Plano locations join the growing Tacodeli presence in the area, with the first location in West Dallas on Sylvan and a soon-to-open location on Walnut Hill near Central Expressway.
Tacodeli is open Monday though Friday from 7am to 3pm (breakfast is 7am to 11am, lunch 11am to 3pm). On the weekends the house are 8am to 3pm, with breakfast served all day. Don’t forget to bring the mimosas! Tacodeli is BYOB, baby!!
