Warm weather is finally here, and it’s time to get your mani/pedi game on point. Put aside the vampy nail polish shades from fall and winter. Opt for the bold, beautiful, bright polish shades that will elevate your mood, all season long.
Recently I spoke with Celebrity Nail Stylist Pilar Noire about the hottest nail polish shades for the season. “Spring is my preferred season. It’s when all of the vibrant and pretty pastel colors bloom into the scene,” said Noire.
From bold red to creamy pastels, scroll down to check out Pilar’s must-have polish shade picks. Use one or more of these shades to create the super popular negative space mani/pedi, the two shade half-moon mani, or any creative design you can dream up. If you prefer to keep it simple, coat nails with your shade of choice, don your favorite dress, and go find a patio to enjoy the weather.
RED
Inspired from the Empower Collection by Maxus Nails is a classic bright red that’s perfect for spring. I love that this polish is formulated with a strengthener to care for the nails.
YELLOW
Loop The Loop by Ciate London is a lemon yellow that will keep your interest. Use this shade with their Gelology Top Coat for extreme shine formula and a gel-like finish.
TEAL
Mané from Carolyn K. London is a fresh aqua nail paint perfect for a fashionable pedicure. Pick up her Polish Pod to keep all shapes and sizes of polishes secure during application and maximize your polish to the last drop.
BLUE
Blue Eyeshadow from the CND Vinylux Spring New Wave Collection is a rich blue that can inspire an 80’s dance party.
PURPLE
Purple Reign from Ani Michele is a classic purple that’s pretty for all skin tones.
PALE PINK

Mademoiselle from Essie is my favorite sheer pink but, they just introduced a beautiful new pink for spring called Backseat Besties.
Both of these Essie colors were seen recently on the runway during Rebecca Minkoff’s SS17 “See Now, Buy Now, Wear Now” fashion show at the Grove in Los Angeles. And I painted model Pyper America Smith in a monochromatic rainbow designed by nail lead Michelle Saunders using Essie’s Spring Collection.

This year their collection has the effect of a chameleon. Light Pink has a beautiful blue hue.
