Devin Harris and Deron Williams gave out turkeys with all the trimming today to families in need at Buckner International. Albertsons generously supported the event by donating the sides, including green beans, corn, butter potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, candied yams and cake mix.
Throughout NBA Cares Season of Giving, the NBA and its teams and players are out in their communities hosting hundreds of charitable events across the country in an effort to brighten the holidays for thousands of children and families.
This is the sixth year that the Mavs have partnered with Buckner International to hand out Thanksgiving meals and the fourth year that the club has partnered with Albertsons.
