For the very first time, Equest will open its barn doors at Texas Horse Park and welcome the public to Ridefest 2015. Themed “Festival of Hope” and hosted by Co-Chairs Bill and Margaret Wolf, Equest Ridefest is a family-friendly day filled with carnival games, a petting zoo, River Ranch trail rides, and activities for all ages.
From Equest Interim CEO Lili Kellogg:
Ridefest has been a much-anticipated fundraising event internally for Equest Riders and their families, volunteers, and staff year after year. Now that we have a second facility at Texas Horse Park in South Dallas, it is a great opportunity to open our doors for the community to enjoy Ridefest, too.
The event benefits Equest, a non-profit that provides Therapeutic Horsemanship activities and therapies to children and adults with physical, cognitive, sensory, coping and learning disabilities.
Equest RideFest 2015 will be held on Saturday, November 14 from 10 AM – 3PM at Texas Horse Park (811 Pemberton Hill Road, Building 4, Dallas, TX 75217). Admission is free. Food and activities are available for purchase at https://equest.org/events/ridefest-2/.
