what i’m loving right now – men & women f/w edition

The big chill has finally made its way to Dallas! This is my favorite time of the year for so many reasons – the weather, the fashion, the food… Did I mention the fashion?!

Are you ready to find out what I am loving right now for fall and winter?

Ladies first…
FW 2014 Women

Turquoise Scarf with Pom Trim $39: Elizabeth Koh | Ivanka Trump Camelaly Pump $140: Belk | ONSEN EDP $240: MiN New York SCENT STORIES | Aspen $485: JulieBeth Handbags

Once again, the girls over at Elizabeth Koh dazzle with their new fall and winter collections. I am very fond of their Buddha Infinity Scarf Collection. The color combinations are great and the pom-poms are super cute! Megan Elizabeth Varela and Janelle Elizabeth Sisting have stayed true to their mission and are continuing to give back to the communities that produce their scarves – 10% of Elizabeth Koh proceeds go to help develop and sustain the local programs of the SOS Children’s Villages in Thailand.

Animal prints are great neutrals. Ivanka Trump Camelaly Pump has the right balance between vintage (t-strap) and current trend (toe cap and animal print). This is the perfect shoe to pair with some of the seasons hottest fashion trends.

Rich, hearty scents make me so happy during the chilly seasons. MiN New York SCENT STORIES won my heart this year with ONSEN, number 10 from the 11 scent collection. This Japanese-inspired eau de parfume features a collection of notes including absinth, bergamot, vetiver roots, oak moss and steam.

JulieBeth Handbags in Houston has created a beautiful bag that can be carried two ways – folded over as an oversize clutch or as a shoulder bag. Available in two sizes, this is a must-have bag, anytime of the year.

Guys, it’s your turn…

FW 2014 Men
Logan Backpack $448: Frye | New Haarlem EDP $180+: Bond No. 9 | Champagne 1½” Tie Bar $15: The Tie Bar | Kenton Boot $190: Dr. Martens

Backpacks are great carryalls for men. Leather backpacks are really hot right now and the antique leather use on the Frye Logan Backpack gives unique character to a classic design.

Men deserve to have a signature scent for the chilly seasons as well.  Bond No. 9 New Haarlem features a collection of notes including lavender, bergamot, coffee, amber, vanilla and patchouli…aka the perfect manly fragrance for fall & winter.

Tie bars are an inexpensive accessory that all traditional tie wears should own. Tie Bar’s Champagne 1½” design is perfectly neutral for year ’round versatility.

Combat style boots are popular footwear options for men right now. Kenton, the Dr. Martens take on the trend, features smooth oxblood leather and a unique wrapping strap design making this shoe great for work or play, day or evening.
