The latest CultureMap Social presented by Cointreau was held Wednesday night at 129 Leslie in the Dallas Design District.
Young professionals chatted, noshed on passed appetizers and pasta from Villa-O, mixed customized Cointreau Rickeys in the Cointreau Garden, enjoyed beats by DJ John Fuller, got crazy in the Photomadic photo booth and enjoyed the fabulous Belk pop-up shop showcasing the season’s hottest fashion trends.
After sliding behind the wheel of the new Lincoln MKC and making a social media stamp on the event by tweeting or intagramming a picture, the first 100 ladies scooped up rings from All The Wire, and the first 100 guys took home polka dot pocket squares from Quixotic.
While all of the above made the night amazing, the best part was the game that really made the event social. As each guest entered they were given a card with a name of a location or street around Dallas. I had Blackburn St. Throughout the night, while chatting, guests inquired about your card and even helped direct to where they may have seen your match. What was the point? The point was clearly to be social but if you were able to locate your match, you received restaurant gift cards courtesy of Post Properties!
Sadly, I did not find my match but the game was super fun and I enjoyed the new people I met.
Hate you missed the event? Don’t worry! Save the date for the next (and last) CultureMap Social of the year – November 22 at ilume Park. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, October 28. Get yours before they sell out.
