It’s that time again!
Designers Choice Fashion Preview, the premier event providing local designers a platform to share their talent and creations, is returning to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex November 17th.
The show will be hosted by Korto Momolu of Project Runway Season 5, Page Parkes of Page Parkes Management and NFL Super Bowl Champion Remi Ayodele and will benefit the Timmons Arts Foundation in support of W. T. White High School.
The show last year was unbelievable and you will not want to miss the featured designer line up for this year including Angel Burrell, Carmen Iris, Chelsea Britt of Ruby Britt, Dora Yim of d.p.c., Drake A. Smith of Smith and Brandon, Megan McKinney of MegMorgan Designs, Shawn D. Florence of Paparahzzi Couture, Tre LaVoux, Korto Momolu and Erica Warren. YES – Korto Momolu will showcase at this event!
Designer’s Choice Fashion Preview is Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Dallas World Trade Center2050 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75207. Doors open at 6:00pm for the VIP Meet and Greet Reception & 7pm for General Admission. The show starts at 7:30pm.
Tickets are available now at http://www.dcfpdallas.eventbrite.com/. Last year tickets were available at the door on the evening of the event but organizers have not mentioned that this will be an option yet. DCFP sells out every year, so my suggestion is to get your tickets early!
General Admission – $35 (general seating)
Preferred VIP – $50 (Preferred Seating & Swag Bag)
Exclusive VIP – $75 (Includes entrance into the VIP Mixer with open bar, meet & greet with Korto Momolu & DCFP designers, Swag Bag, & VIP Seating)

If you love doing outfit of the day pictures, this contest is for you. To enter, send an email to info@popgoesthecity.com with SHOW US YOUR STYLE in the subject line and share a brief statement about your style with 1 outfit picture by 11:59pm cst November 13th. Yep, it’s that simple! Be sure to include your name, city and age in the email and please send only one entry per person. Winners will be contacted via email on November 14th.
The Show Us Your Style contest is open to North Texas (DFW Metroplex) residents only. Your prize is attending this wonderful show, there is no cash value.

The Timmons Arts Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization that assists the school system in continuing the visual arts and music programs, in addition to establishing new programs in schools where art and music are currently absent or limited in their curriculum. The Timmons Arts Foundation builds its support from the community through events such as Designers Choice Fashion Preview, which not only provides exposure to local talent, but also provides exposure and support to a greater cause…the education, enrichment and empowerment of our children.
