I officially deem the week following Cupcake Camp, Cupcake Week on Pop Goes The City…so let’s get started!

Trailercakes debuted a new cupcake…ahem, t-cake…at last Saturday’s Cupcake Camp.  Caramel Eileen is a salted caramel fanatics dream.  Triple the caramel flavor with caramel cake, a layer of caramel goodness all topped off with a salted caramel buttercream and pretzel.  A little sweet, a little salty and very delicious.

This cupcake has a great balance of caramel flavor between all the layers.  The cake is very moist and the layer of caramel goodness is very smooth, not grainy like some caramel can be.  Be advised, the salted caramel buttercream will send your taste buds into overdrive.  This is the best salted caramel themed cupcake I enjoyed, to date.
