Day two of All About Beauty Week features one of my favorite ways to treat myself. I love being able to go relax with a nice, soothing manicure and pedicure. It’s my time to lay back, release and center my mind.
Until earlier this month, I had been going to same nail salon for 15 years. Yes, when I like something and I know the owners and people working there, I tend to feel more comfortable spending my money there. Once day I went in for my appointment and they had forgotten to write it down. I was in a bit of a time pinch because I had a party to go to so I had to leave and find a place quick. I remembered that Hollywood Day Spa on Park and Dallas North Tollway was on my way back home so I decided to go there. The ambiance is amazing…not the typical nail salon but not so much just a spa. It’s almost like stepping into another world. Beautiful sculptures, a rich color on the wall and calming music all set the stage for fabulous pampering.
Hollywood Day Spa has a full menu of service but for a first timer, I recommend the Hollywood Spa Pedicure. 35 minutes in a massaging chair, having your feet and legs cared for, exfoliation with a wonderful scrub, lotion and oil massage and wrapped in hot towels while you sip wine is a heavenly treat. I love it!
If you are wanting to experience a lush, moisturizing pedicure, try the Milk & Honey Pedicure. It’s a deluxe service and the hot stone massage at the end will have you melting in your chair before the 60 minutes ends. It is absolutely my favorite service…so far.
