Outside of my birthday, September 26th, the holiday season is my favorite time of the year. The shopping, the music and the family gatherings are always so exciting to me. But…let’s be honest, there are a lot of struggles and sadness that comes with the holiday season as well.
So as we enter this festive time of the year, please remember those in our communities who are less fortunate. Give to your favorite charity or serve your community in any positive way you can. Take an angel from the Salvation Army Angel Giving Tree or stop and deposit in the Red Kettle the next time you see one. Do what you can to share the true holiday spirit with everyone you encounter.
