It is not uncommon to see women carrying a spare pair of shoes, flats, to change into when their heels begin to pinch.  Foldable flats have become the fashion staple over flip-flops because they can be stashed away a little, cute discreet bag and tossed in a purse. 

Foldable flats can be found at any price point but I really like the Yosi Samra Fold Up Flats because they offer a great variety of fabric and color choices.
