Marquee Grill in Highland Park Village had been on my “to try” list for quite some time until recently. A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of being invited to dinner there and I was simply amazed. Executive Chef Tre Wilcox, Bravo Top Chef All Star, has crafted a wonderful menu that is sure to please.
It was had to decide but I finally settled on the soup of the day, a roasted corn and asparagus soup and the bone in pork chop with bleu cheese grits.
Experiencing the food at Marquee Grill was out of sight. The soup was hot, creamy and full of flavor. The pork chop was super juicy and the bleu cheese grits were marvelous.
I am excited to go back and try the fries. I hear they are fabulous.
