I love beauty products.  I am very choosy when it comes to what I am willing to use, but I have a long list of products I love or want to try.

2012 is here and I think creating a superior beauty wardrobe should be on everyone’s list of resolutions.  Here’s my list of the top 12 beauty products I can’t (and don’t think you can) live without in 2012.  These are not new products…but they are most certainly must haves.

{Sara Happ}

I have mentioned the fabulous Sara Happ Lip Scrub and Lip Slip before.  It even made my Holiday Gift Guide.  Believe me when I say I love this stuff!  I have a lot of lip stuff and Sara Happ products have become my favorites.

I use the scrub twice a week to keep my lip exfoliated and I use the balm several times of day.  The balm is velvety and is thicker than your typical lip balms or treatments.  It’s lasting and I love that!

{Lashes}

2012 will be the year I try wearing lashes!  Almost every lady I know wears lashes or has lash extensions and they look fabulous.  A friend of mine swears by Avasiare products including the lashes so I am looking to give these a try.

{Renée Rouleau Night Time Spot Lotion}

2012 is the year I try Renée Rouleau products.  I have heard nothing but good things about this Dallas based skincare line and I am dying to get in on the fun.

Every now and them I have a little break out and I hear this Spot Lotion is a marvelous remedy.

{Bond No. 9}

Y’all know how much I love Bond No. 9 scents!  I own several and honestly believe the line has a scent for everyone.

Nuits de Noho is one of my favorite scents.  It’s sex, sultry and very unique.

{Soak-Off Gel Color} 

2011 was the year I dumped pink & whites for soak-off gel color.  Soak-off gel color has made wearing color a breeze.  I stopped wearing polish on my acrylics years ago and wanted to start wearing it again but wanted something lasting.  Soak-off gel color has been the answer for me!

Try it but remember, get someone who knows what they are doing.  Lifting and chipping is possible but product application is everything with gel color.  TRUST ME!

{Anastasia Brow Enhancing Serum Advance}

A couple of months ago I mentioned on Twitter that I wanted thicker, fuller eyebrows and a friend told me about Anastasia.  I went to the brow studio in Nordstrom at Galleria Dallas and fell in love with the waxing, brow education and product line.

I love using the Anastasia Brow Enhancing Serum Advance.  I can see a difference in my brows.

{Bliss Naked Body Butter}

I love the whole Bliss collection of products but I especially love the Body Butter.  I have dry skin and the Body Butter keeps me moisturized.

Bliss Body Butter comes scented and unscented (Naked).  I like Naked because I don’t want it competing my with fragrance.

{Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia Cologne}

Jo Malone is an amazing fragrance collection and when I am not wearing Bond No. 9, I am wearing Jo Malone.

One of my favorite Jo Malone scents is English Pear & Freesia.  It’s fresh, warm and sensual.

{Rodan + Fields Micro-Dermabrasion Paste}

A friend of mine introduced me to Rodan + Fields products several months ago.  I honestly believe the Rodan + Fields Micro-Dermabrasion Paste is the best micro-derm I have ever tried.

Rodan + Fields Micro-Dermabrasion Paste is a very gentle exfoliation and it leaves my skin so supple.  2012 is the year this product becomes one of my beauty staples.

{Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque}

Many know how awesome a Dermalogica facial is.  A friend of mine uses Dermalogica products in her facial studio and after she treated me to facial and the Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque, I fell in love.

She told me to use the vitamin packed mask a day or so before a big event, date or whatever for a refreshed look and she was right.  It suits my skin well and I enjoy how it makes it look and feel.

{Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve}

Ladies…& men, there is NO excuse for dry, chapped hands.  I like to use Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve.

This is not a hand lotion.  This is a salve so it is heavier, lasts longer and is non-greasy.  It really protects my hands well and I can wash and dry my hands several times a day without reapplying.

“The Beauty Buzz: No More Beauty B. S.!” is what I call the beauty bible!!  It is a guide to the best products as hand-picked by author Victoria Snee.  She does not want us to empty our pockets at the cosmetics counter so she put together a great book to help us navigate and make purchases that lead to us looking our best.

I have this book, I read this book, I interviewed the author because I had more questions…and I carry the book with me every time I go to the cosmetics counter.  THE BOOK HAS AN INDEX!!!  This is perfect for quick reference.
